Like all of UNA-Canada’s educational and empathy-based programmes, the New Diplomacy of Natural Resources has a legacy of facilitating the personal and professional growth of young leaders, often contributing directly to their professional success.
Delegates develop skills in diplomacy, negotiation, debate, leadership and stakeholder management. In addition to an enriched educational experience, the programme offers valuable networking, career and relationship-building opportunities: for instance, more than thirty percent of the delegates from our inaugural iteration in 2012 were recruited by our partners as a direct result of their participation.
The programme accepts a maximum of 30 young leaders to participate in each simulation. The application process is competitive and requires a recommendation from your university or employer.
