UNA-Canada Project / Projet de l'ACNU

Canada, Youth and the Right to Water

Cette projet se rendra au région de Toronto.

Canada, Youth and the Right to Water is a public engagement initiative that brings together youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds around the issue of the Right to Water as a basic human right and necessity. Through experiential learning techniques and diverse participatory research modules, youth from all backgrounds will make local connections to the global realities of the water and sanitation crisis. Canada, Youth and the Right to Water empowers all Canadian youth to be a stakeholder on the political, social and economical issues surrounding water.

In partnership with Toronto Community Housing and Havergal College, the project operates in the Toronto region for 2007-2008.

Canada, Youth and the Right to Water acknowledges the generous support of our funding sponsors: the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)
