A Sense of Belonging A Sense of Belonging promoted diversity and combated racism and discrimination in local communities across Canada through community outreach and public education. UNA-Canada's overall goal was to support participation and opportunities for minority groups and promote fulsome and equal participation in Canadian society. Based on previous successful projects (Integration & Belonging, Youth for Diversity, Youth Forums Against Racism) it identified community action plans and helped their implementation. Although the activities of this initiative ended in 2008, below you will find a link to the Sense of belonging Website which includes a myriad of research reports, findings and resource material.
