UNA-Canada & the Balsillie School of International Affairs Launch an International Issues Speake


OTTAWA, ON 2020 March 9 - The United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada), in partnership with the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA), is pleased to announce a new Speakers’ Series. With four sessions a year, the first is UN Security Council Membership: Opportunities and Challenges as a Non-Permanent Member of the Council, timed with Canada’s aspiration for a seat on the Council. This High-Level Panel will bring together key stakeholders in industry, academia, government and young scholars.

The Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA) is a collaborative partnership between two universities and a public policy think tank. Its mandate is to develop new solutions to humanity’s critical problems and to improve global governance, now and in the future. The BSIA is home to four degree programs offered by our partner institutions: a Master in International Public Policy (MIPP), a Master of Arts in Global Governance (MAGG), a MBA/MIPP double degree, and a PhD in Global Governance.
