UNA-Canada has collaborated with many community organizations to deliver Generation SDG – Youth Action on the Sustainable Development Goals, including school boards, youth-serving organizations, government agencies, and civil society organizations.
Through empathy-based and leadership skills training, SDG Ambassadors, aged 14-18, have been equipped with tools to implement volunteer projects that respond to pressing issues in Ottawa and the surrounding region.
The Generation SDG Summit, on February 15, 2020, will be the concluding event for the Generation SDG project to celebrate the service initiatives developed by the SDG Ambassadors with over 500 of their peers.
