The What Kind of WorldÖ? programme corresponds
well, and is relevant to, the Saskatchewan Ministry
of Education's social studies objectives for Grades
5, 6, 7 and 8. In Grade 5, the programme relates
to: Units 2 - "Identity", Unit 4 - "Interdependence",
and Unit 5 - "Decision Making". In Grade 6, it
links to Unit 4 of "Interdependence" which covers
such issues as: The Global Village, Links between
People and the Environment, Human Rights and Responsibilities,
and Canada as a World Player. In Grade 7, the
programme meets key curriculum objectives, particularly
the Unit on "Canada and Its Pacific Neighbours".
