Introduction
The
importance of nuclear weapons is that all nuclear weapons
can be used for good, but the way man is, he always makes
the choice where they use it for its destructive abilities.
An example where nuclear weapons come in where they were
not needed was in World War 2, where they dropped the first
bomb on Hiroshima and another bomb on Nagasaki and they
killed millions of innocent civilians. Some examples of
useful uses of nuclear technology are like building dams,
making power plants work, or something like that.
Why
I chose this topic is because nuclear weapons are dangerous
because too many people have them and too many people or
willing to use them and when they're used people get hurt
when no one should use nuclear weapons because all they
bring is devastation and it is a big problem because used
in the wrong way, they can be devastating to people and
our environment around us.
The
importance of nuclear weapons is that it is very dangerous
and if a country was in a war they could decide to drop
nuclear bombs on each other and kill many innocent bystanders.
They also destroy the environment around them and nothing
lives through the explosion of a nuclear bomb. It affects
us because we hear about wars and in every war there is
a chance of nuclear bomb. The affect on us are not casual
right now because they are still testing it, but even when
it has been dropped an the other side of the planet it would
affect us because even if radiation does not travel this
far we would hear about it on t.v., radio, and we would
feel badly.

them all on a small island and make it neutral territory

them up one by one in space

them to the United Nations and let them deal with it

wide ban on nuclear weapons

a treaty with other countries
Steps
or Actions
The
first step you would take would be to get every country
to donate money to disarm all nuclear weapons and put a
world wide commercial about nuclear weapons. Put posters
and give out poster to all the communities and other places
to raise awareness not to use nuclear weapons and disable
all the ones that are already made and deconstruct them.
They could also make treaties with all the major builders
of weapons like Iraq and other places that build nuclear
weapons and other deadly weapons and if they break the treaty,
there leader will have to step down if he is caught making
nuclear weapons. It would work because you would work hard
to become the leader of a country. So why would you risk
it, it would be stupid.
Solutions
that are being tried:
They
have put together a treaty against nuclear weapons so they
can not build any more nuclear weapons but not all the countries
have signed the treaty.
There
is a ban in a few countries where your not allowed to build
or use nuclear weapons. But it you're going to get rid of
nuclear weapons we need everyone to try and stop from building
more.
In
the former Soviet Union they are dismantling all of their
nuclear weapons but Russia is too poor to dismantle them
by themselves we need other contributions like money to
help.
Are
these solutions working?
Some
of them are working but they need more countries to sign
the nuclear treaty. The stupid thing is the only reason
they wouldn't sign the treaty is because they are planning
on building more or waging a war or another country and
that's the only other use of nuclear weapons there is no
other use for them unless you wait to go to war.

Nations Solutions
Yes
the United Nations were involved in making a treaty for
all the countries where they are not allowed to make any
more nuclear bombs and disable the other ones.
