Last Words The first last words come from Lemuel Gulliver (a.k.a. Jonathan Swift): I should here observe to the Reader, that a Decree of the general Assembly in this Country, is expressed in the Word Hnhloayn, which signifies an Exhortation, as near as I can render it: For they have no Conception how a rational Creature can be compelled, but only advised, or exhorted; because no Person can disobey Reason, without giving up his Claim to be a rational Creature. Next I quote from Sigmund Freud's 1932 letter to Albert Einstein: Wars will only be prevented with certainty if mankind unites in setting up a central authority to which the right of giving judgment upon all conflicts of interest shall be handed over. There are clearly two separate requirements involved in this: the creation of a supreme authority and its endowment with the necessary power. One without the other is useless. The last last word I give to Albert Einstein: Imagination is more important than facts.
