On 16 October 2008 (World Food Day), UNA-Canada
will celebrate the vision, commitment and remarkable achievements
of an outstanding Canadian entrepreneur - Mr. Wallace McCain,
co-founder with his brother Harrison, of McCain Foods.
Join us, along with our Corporate Host,
Mr. Rick E. Waugh, President and CEO of Scotiabank Group,
and enjoy cocktails and dinner at the Liberty Grand's Governor's
Ballroom, as we pay tribute to Mr. McCain and mark the UN's International
Year of the Potato.
Funds raised will support the United Nations
Association in Canada youth and education programmes.
