It is with great pleasure that the United Nations Association
in Canada (UNA-Canada) invites you to attend our Toronto Special
Dinner honouring Dr. Hans Blix. As a recognized world leader on
the subject of non-proliferation and disarmament, this special
dinner will celebrate Dr. Blix's commitment to, and leadership
on, issues of peace and disarmament, and his passion in helping
make this a better world.
The evening also will focus attention on the issue of disarmament
- from nuclear to biological to chemical to small arms - at the
beginning of the 2007 UN Disarmament Week (24-31 October).
