UNA-Canada is hosting a special dinner marking the UN's most senior level management course, the first of its kind, being held in Ottawa, Canada. The Senior Mission Leaders Course closing dinner is a forum to express appreciation for the 25 appointees as Senior Representatives of the UN Secretary-General in post conflict and peacekeeping operations. The training program is organized by the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO), International Training Service and is being hosted for two weeks by the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs. The course participants are all experienced senior government officials, military or police officers, or senior diplomats drawn from UN Member States.
