The United Nations has benefited from the diligent work and direction
provided by many Canadians. The work of the these individuals reflects
positively both on themselves and on all Canadians. It is through the
work of these people--and others like them--that the UN has taken, and
will continue to take, necessary actions to improve the situation of
all of the people of the world. This booklet has made an effort to provide
some cursory information about a number of Canadians who have made a
significant contribution to the United Nations, and through it to the
world. Due to space constraints, the booklet could not give full justice
to their many accomplishments. Further research on these individuals
and organizations would prove to be a rewarding informative pursuit.
