The Role of Civil Society
in Pandemic Preparedness
In 2006, UNA-Canada published two articles on the role of civil society
as governance partners in pandemic management. One of these two documents,
written by Kathryn White and Maria Banda, and entitled Building Trust,
Taking Responsibility: Civil Society as Partners in Global Health Governance,
was later incorporated, with permission, into a book entitled Innovation
in Global Health Governance: Critical Cases, as Chapter 6. Within
the book, the title was amended to The Role of Civil Society in Pandemic
Preparedness.
