Valuing the Culture of Peace
This is a conference organized by PAGE (Teachers for Peace and
Global Education), the United Nations Victoria Association and
the University of Victoria. The conference aims to explore ways
to implement a peace curriculum in the learning environment of
the classroom.

Canadian Centres for Teaching Peace
The aim of this organization is to promote peace in Canada. Canadian
Centres for Teaching Peace is a world leader in the make-up of
the Working Group for the International Year for the Culture of
Peace. Its website provides detailed information on peace including

This women’s organization/group has been promoting peace
for several years. In fact this group became known thanks to its
implication in various issues, such as the nuclear issue. Its
