Valuing the Culture of Peace

This is a conference organized by PAGE (Teachers for Peace and Global Education), the United Nations Victoria Association and the University of Victoria. The conference aims to explore ways to implement a peace curriculum in the learning environment of the classroom.

The aim of this organization is to promote peace in Canada. Canadian Centres for Teaching Peace is a world leader in the make-up of the Working Group for the International Year for the Culture of Peace. The Voice of Women

This women’s organization/group has been promoting peace for several years. In fact this group became known thanks to its implication in various issues, such as the nuclear issue.
