The Programme of Work 2002 presents an overview of
the operations, activities and key focuses of the United Nations Association
in Canada for the fiscal year 2002. The purpose of this document is
twofold:

To provide internal direction for UNA-Canada.
- To enable a clearer understanding of the organization to external partners, members, funders and interested citizens.
In 2002, the United Nations Association in Canada
marks its 56th anniversary and renews once again its commitment to engage
the Canadian public in the work of the United Nations and critical international
issues. In order to effectively realize this mandate, UNA-Canada will
combine high-quality and far-reaching projects and programmes with successful
fundraising, improved branch relations and communication, strong partnerships
and solid internal governance. In 2002, UNA-Canada will also continue
outlining a more concrete strategic vision for the organization at the
Board level.
